HIDROMOD was funded in 1992, with the goal of providing a set of high quality technological services to the market, supported by a cooperation protocol with the marine technologies investigation group (MARETEC) from Instituto Superior Técnico.
Since 1992, HIDROMOD has gathered significant experience in process simulations related to wave propagation, sediment transport through combined wind and current action, water quality, effluent dispersion, oil spillge transport and associated emergency plans, etc.
Over the last few years, HIDROMOD has also developed relevant expertise in the fields of information technologies, operational services and integrated management information.
Presently, HIDROMOD has the objective to continue to provide technical and scientific high quality services, while continuing to grow through the incorporation of postgraduates, which allows facing the future with added technical and scientific ability, thus ensuring our clients the best modelling, information technologies and real time information integrationservices modern technologies have to offer.
